There is a Right Way to Do It
Springforward provides best-practice based support to organizations whose goal is world class service to their internal and external customers. Through our experience and evidenced-based research, we evaluate and apply the best methodologies, techniques, and tools that reliably lead to higher quality, lower operating cost, and increased efficiency.
Regarding best-practice based IT support, Springforward applies the Enterprise Life Cycle (ELC) and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) development paths and methodologies. The ELC applies to enterprise-wide planning activities and decision making and refers to an organization’s approach to managing activities and making decisions during ongoing refreshment of business and technical practices to support its enterprise mission. These activities include investment management, project definition, configuration management, accountability, and guidance for systems development. By contrast, an SDLC refers to practices for building individual systems. The SDLC describes the stages involved in an information system development project, from an initial feasibility study through maintenance of the completed application. Using the ELC model in concert with the SDLC model ensures the right systems are in place to support the organization and activity to build such systems meets or exceeds project goals and objectives.
Using the SDLC model, Springforward will guide its systems development projects through a sequence of predictable steps including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and evaluation.
